Junior Fixed Income / Credit Research Analyst - Asset ManagementAbout the ClientOur client is a renowned Chinese asset management firm. As part of their investment team expansion, they are seeking a motivated Junior Fixed Income / Credit Research Analyst to work directly with Portfolio Managers and Senior Research Analysts. Candidates with credit research or relevant analysis experience (including structured internships) are strongly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesCredit Research & Analysis: Conduct bottom-up credit evaluation on fixed income issuers, including corporate bonds, LGFVs (Local Government Financing Vehicles), and high-yield securities. Assess financial health, balance sheet leverage, cash flow sustainability, and core risk factors.Portfolio Monitoring: Track credit migration, rating agency actions, and potential default risks across portfolio holdings. Provide timely credit updates, actionable investment notes, and divestment recommendations.Macro & Industry Insights: Assist Portfolio Managers with macroeconomic, sector-level, and capital market trends analysis.Market Commentary: Author regular market and fund commentaries by analyzing fixed income statistics, yield curves, and regional credit trends.Market Coverage: Participate in regional and global credit market research to support trading and strategy execution.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience within financial institutions, specifically in fixed income or credit research across the buy-side (Asset Management/Hedge Funds) or sell-side (Credit Research/Rating Agencies). Relevant research analyst internship experience will also be considered.Technical Focus: Good to have strong background in bottom-up corporate credit analysis.
