IT Business Analyst (Cash Equities)

International investment bank seeking a Business Analyst to support strategic technology initiatives across Cash Equities trading platforms. This role will partner closely with Front Office, Technology, and Operations teams to deliver enhancements across order and execution management systems, driving efficiency, scalability, and data-led decision making in a fast-paced trading environment. Responsibilities - Gather, analyse, and document business requirements across Cash Equities trading platforms - Partner with Sales & Trading, Technology, and Operations stakeholders to deliver system enhancements - Support transformation initiatives across order management, execution management, and algorithmic trading platforms - Define functional and technical specifications for trading workflows and market connectivity requirements - Drive process improvements leveraging data analytics and emerging technologies Required Skills - Experience as a Business Analyst within Cash Equities trading environments - Understanding of OMS, EMS, and electronic/algorithmic trading platforms - Knowledge of the full trade lifecycle, including order capture, routing, execution, allocation, and post-trade processing - Ability to engage with front-office stakeholders and translate business needs into detailed requirements This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded financial markets team, working on business-critical trading technology initiatives while collaborating with key stakeholders across Front Office and Technology functions.
