Business Analyst - Top Tier Bank (12 Months Contract)

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support large-scale transformation initiatives within Commercial Banking. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, relationship managers, product owners, and technology teams to drive process optimisation, digital transformation, client onboarding enhancements, and regulatory change initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Partner with Commercial Banking stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and transformation opportunities. - Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and process flows. - Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews across Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams. - Analyse current-state processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and digitalisation. - Support initiatives across Client Onboarding, KYC/CDD, Lending, Trade Finance, Cash Management, Deposits, and Relationship Management platforms. - Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, UX teams, and Technology teams throughout the project lifecycle. - Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and solution evaluation to support business decision-making. - Support Agile delivery activities including backlog grooming, sprint planning, SIT, UAT, defect management, and production rollout. - Ensure compliance with regulatory, operational risk, and governance requirements. - Prepare project documentation, management updates, and status reports for senior stakeholders. - Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and support mitigation planning. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline. - 5+ years of Business Analysis experience within banking, financial services, fintech, or consulting environments. - Strong experience in Commercial Banking transformation p
