Responsibilities
- Prepare the annual procurement budget, perform budget control, and identify opportunities for cost saving
- Maintain and optimize procurement procedures, ensure purchasing activities comply with internal policies and external regulations
- Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including supplier evaluation & selection
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to achieve optimal value for the organization
- Utilize various data sources to perform in-depth spend analysis, identify trends and support decision making
- Monitor supplier in compliance with contractual obligations and service-level agreements
- Handle routine administration duties for internal procurement committee
- Assist in establishing, updating, and implementing financial policies and internal control procedures
- Assist the team to perform expenditure management and perform general ledger control
- Participate in the system development, enhancements and automation projects
- Prepare reports on procurement status, expense analysis, policy compliance, and cost control to head office/top management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or above) holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
- Minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience in financial institutions
- Excellent execution, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, analytical abilities and Chinese writing
- Good command in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin) and English
