Software Engineer – Advent

Location: Dubai, UAE Experience: 5+ Years Role Overview: We are looking for innovative Software Engineer – Advent to modernize and optimize enterprise investment management platforms built on Advent APX. This role combines expertise in .NET development, MS SQL, automation, APIs, CI/CD, and AI technologies to improve operational efficiency and deliver next-generation financial technology solutions. Key Responsibilities: Platform Engineering - Administer, maintain, and optimize the Advent APX platform. - Develop backend services and integrations using .NET (C#). - Design scalable application architecture supporting enterprise investment operations. - Ensure application reliability, performance, and security. Database & Automation - Develop and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects. - Build automated testing frameworks using Playwright or equivalent tools. - Design CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and reduce manual effort. - Identify and automate inefficient operational workflows. Innovation & Integration - Integrate modern APIs and microservices using Node.js and .NET. - Explore AI technologies and LLM-based automation opportunities. - Support production issues and optimize enterprise applications. - Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Development teams.
