Paralegal - Debt Capital Market We are a top-tier law firm in PRC and are looking for caliber and committed Paralegal to our Hong Kong office. This position is responsible to provide full spectrum of legal support to the Debt Capital Market team in reliable, stable and secured environment for the Hong Kong office. Job Highlights - Excellent career development and training - Professional and dynamic working environment - Energetic and supportive team Job Duties - Providing the supervising Partner and Associates with efficient support in debt capital markets team; - Processing comments from seniors and external parties and proof-reading, translating Chinese disclosure documents and drafting business disclosure in English; - Conducting debt listing applications and preparing ancillary legal documents (such as resolutions, minutes, announcements, signature pack, closing memorandum, document checklist, etc.); - Preparing due diligence questionnaire in Chinese, liaising with auditors and other professional parties; - Attending to daily deal execution, filling documents and emails, liaising with different parties of a transaction; - Assisting in preparing pitch book when needed. Requirements - LLB/LLM/JD degree in Law is preferred; candidates from other background (such as English/Accounting/Finance) would also be considered - Prior DCM/ IPO/ Finance experience is preferred but not necessary - Knowledge in accounting/finance is preferred but not necessary - Highly proficient in English with excellent writing skills is a must - Fluent in Mandarin is a must - Good knowledge in the use of computer, WORD and Excel - Independent, willing to learn, proactive, hard-working, team player and detail-oriented - ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive remuneration package, good team support and long-term career prospects.
