Litigation Associate

A well-established law firm seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney with 3–4+ years of experience to join its New York/New Jersey practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated coverage practice representing national and international insurers in complex matters across the country. The team handles coverage disputes involving pollution, toxic tort, asbestos, construction defect, product liability, E&O, and excess liability, among other areas. Key Responsibilities: - Develop strategy for complex insurance coverage litigation - Analyze policies and claims and advise clients on coverage issues - Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery, and coverage analyses - Take and defend depositions - Handle matters in state and federal court - Attend hearings and mediations - Work directly with clients and help supervise junior attorneys and paralegals Qualifications: - 3–4+ years of insurance coverage litigation experience - Strong deposition experience - State and federal court experience - New York Bar admission required - New Jersey Bar admission strongly preferred - Strong academic credentials, research, writing, and analytical skills
