Legal Counsel - Family Office

Key Responsibilities • This role will oversee fund subscriptions, co-investments, managed accounts, secondary transactions and direct investments, while partnering closely with investment professionals and external advisers • Draft, review and negotiate a full range of fund-related documentation such as investment management agreements, side letters, subscription agreements • Review and manage legal documentation for direct investment transactions, including SPV structures and fund structuring while partnering closely with the investment team throughout the deal lifecycle • Keep track of legal, regulatory and policy developments affecting offshore investment structures and the Hong Kong regulatory landscape • Oversee external counsel, fund administrators and other external service providers Requirements: • Qualified Lawyer with at least 8 years' PQE (HK, US, AUS or UK qualifications) gained in a reputable international/offshore law firm with ideally some in-house experience • Experience advising on fund investments, co-investments, SPVs and managed account structures, with broad exposure to fund documentation from both investor and sponsor • Excellent communication skills, able to manage deadlines and work closely with senior stakeholders • Fluency in English and Chinese is required If you're interested in this role, click 'apply NOW or for further information and a confidential discussion on this role or to find out about more opportunities, please contact Kamil Butt or email kamil.butt@linksinternational.com
