Position Summary: The Junior Accountant will play a pivotal role in our Dubai office, providing expert accounting and taxation services to our French-speaking clientele. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAE taxation and a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial reporting. Responsibilities Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. Handle all aspects of UAE and European taxation, including tax returns, compliance, and advisory services. Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize their tax liabilities. Assist with the preparation and submission of statutory financial reports. Reconcile bank accounts and prepare monthly bank statements. Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive financial support. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance French language proficiency (written and spoken) is essential Substantial experience in French taxation, preferably in a fiduciary or accounting firm Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
