Junior Accountant (Odoo-Based Accounting)

Role OverviewMelisa Trading L.L.C. is looking for a Junior Accountant & Finance Operations Executive to join our growing team in Dubai. This is a hands-on, learning-focused role for someone with a background in Accounting, Finance, or Business, who wants to build real operational accounting skills using Odoo 19.The role is ideal for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, curious about accounting systems, and naturally analytical. You will work directly with live company data and play an important role in day-to-day financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCore Accounting (Primary Focus)Create and manage daily accounting entries in Odoo 19Record vendor bills, customer invoices, credit notes, and journal entriesTrack and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)Assist with bank reconciliations and cash movement trackingSupport inventory-related accounting entries (in coordination with operations)Maintain clean, accurate, and well-documented accounting recordsFinance Operations & Admin SupportAssist with bill payments, cheque writing, and payment trackingMonitor outstanding receivables and payablesSupport basic cash flow trackingMaintain organized financial documentation (digital & physical)Coordinate with management and accounting on day-to-day finance tasksAnalytics & Business SupportHelp analyze basic financial and operational dataSupport reporting on expenses, balances, and trendsIdentify inconsistencies or anomalies in entries and raise them earlyGradually build understanding of business performance through accounting dataWhat We're Looking ForRequired BackgroundBachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fieldStrong interest in accounting and finance as a careerComfortable with numbers, structure, and detailSkills & TraitsHigh attention to detail and accuracyLogical, structured thinkingNaturally analytical mindsetWillingness to learn accounting systems deeply (especially O
