Junior Accountant

Company: Active Auto Workshop LLC Job Title: Junior Accountant Department: Finance & Accounts Reports To: Finance Manager / General Manager Job Summary The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the daily accounting operations of Active Auto Workshop LLC by maintaining accurate financial records, processing financial transactions, monitoring workshop-related income and expenses, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE regulations. Key Responsibilities - Record daily financial transactions, including workshop sales, service invoices, spare parts sales, and customer payments. - Prepare and process customer invoices, supplier invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries. - Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable. - Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and cash reconciliations. - Assist in monitoring workshop expenses, petty cash, and operating costs. - Verify purchase invoices for spare parts, tools, and workshop consumables. - Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure accurate inventory costing and documentation. - Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports. - Support payroll preparation by verifying attendance records, overtime, and employee deductions. - Maintain accurate filing of accounting records, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents. - Assist with VAT documentation and ensure proper record keeping for tax compliance. - Support internal and external audits by providing the required financial documents. - Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding payment follow-ups and account reconciliations. - Ensure compliance with company financial policies and UAE accounting regulations. - Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager or General Manager.
