General Accountant

Job Vacancy – Accountant Location: Dubai -UAE Employment Type: Full-Time We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with 1–3 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a solid accounting background, excellent English communication skills, and hands-on experience with accounting software. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. - 1–3 years of accounting experience. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Excellent command of written and spoken English. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, etc.). - Experience with accounting software, preferably Zoho Books and QuickBooks. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Key Responsibilities - Record and maintain accurate journal entries. - Prepare and issue customer invoices. - Prepare quotations and coordinate with the sales team when required. - Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records. - Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. - Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. - Process expense reports and ensure proper accounting treatment. - Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. - Prepare financial reports and schedules as requested by management. - Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. - Support external auditors and provide required documentation during audits. Preferred Skills - Experience with VAT accounting and tax compliance is an advantage. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure.
