Finance Manager - International Construction Firm - UAE!

Knowledge & Experience Essential • Qualified Chartered Accountant or Certified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA or equivalent). • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience. • Advanced knowledge of SAGE • Previous experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance leadership role. • Experience managing multiple legal entities and multi-currency accounting environments. • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, job costing, treasury, cash flow management, and financial analysis. • Experience overseeing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, banking, and treasury functions. • Experience preparing management accounts and financial statements. • Strong understanding of intercompany accounting and transfer pricing. • Experience coordinating internal and external audits. • Proven experience implementing and improving financial controls and finance processes. • Knowledge of IFRS is essential. An understanding of US GAAP is advantageous. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. International Finance Knowledge Strong understanding of accounting standards, statutory reporting, taxation, and financial compliance across the following regions: • United Arab Emirates • GCC countries • United Kingdom • Europe • United States • Philippines Desirable • Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, specialist contracting, or project-based industries. • Experience using Sage accounting software. • Experience implementing or managing ERP systems. • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence reporting tools.
