Civil Engineer — Dubai Municipality (DEQ) Registered

KHS Technical Services LLC (That's KHS · Kings Contracting) is a busy, growing contractor delivering high-end villa renovations, extensions and fit-outs across Tilal Al Ghaf, Springs, Arabian Ranches, Mudon, Dubai Sports City and more. We're looking for a Dubai Municipality–registered Civil Engineer to act as our technical engineer of record and lead engineering and authority approvals across our projects. Essential — you must be, or be immediately eligible to become: a Civil Engineer registered with Dubai Municipality under the Dubai Engineering Qualification (DEQ) system, able to be named as the company's qualified technical engineer for our Building Contracting classification, and to hold the DM professional competency certificate required under Dubai Law No. 7 of 2025. This role directly supports and maintains our contractor registration, so DEQ eligibility is non-negotiable. What you'll do: - Act as the company's registered technical engineer for Building Contracting (G+1 residential) - Prepare, review and endorse architectural & structural drawings for submission - Manage authority approvals end-to-end — DM, DDA, Trakheesi, Nakheel/community NOCs — from submission through permit to completion certificate - Supervise sites for quality, safety and compliance; coordinate structural, MEP and finishing works - Liaise with owners, consultants, structural engineers and authority inspectors - Keep our DEQ / technical practice register and classification current What you'll bring: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (accredited) - DM / DEQ engineer registration (held or immediately obtainable) + Society of Engineers UAE membership - 3+ years' villa / building-contracting experience in Dubai - Strong knowledge of Dubai building regulations, structural works (incl. steel / decking slabs) and the approvals process - Excellent coordination, drawing-review and site-supervision skills - UAE driving licence.
