Position Details: Business Analyst- Remote – Salem OR Location : Remote – Salem OR 97301 (Candidate must be within 50 miles) Project Duration :06monthsofcontract Pay rate : $50 to $54 an hour on W2 Role Summary - As a Business Analyst in the PPMO, you will support DOJ modernization initiatives by eliciting and clarifying business needs, documenting processes and requirements, assisting with solution assessment, and supporting testing and implementation. - You’ll collaborate with program staff, senior analysts, technical teams, and vendors to transform stakeholder input into clear, actionable documentation that guides delivery. - May be some need to be in the office based upon business need – a lot of the time the individuals will be able to work remotely Key Responsibilities - Business analysis & requirements support: Gather information via interviews, workshops, document reviews, and research; translate findings into process diagrams, user stories, business rules, and functional descriptions; help maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle. - Documentation: Draft and maintain current state/future state process maps, SOPs, requirements summaries, and system documentation using approved templates and consistent terminology. - Testing & validation support: Prepare UAT test cases, participate in execution, document results, and communicate findings for review and resolution. - Training & implementation assistance: Contribute to end-user training materials and “train the trainer” sessions; observe workflow impacts, gather user feedback, an
