You’ll work directly alongside all major PE sponsors besides Apollo across leveraged finance, project finance, acquisition finance, refinancing, recapitalizations, liability management and restructuring finance. Their institutional client relationships are entrenched, whilst you enjoy the variety of work on offer, they’ll leverage these relationships for you to develop your own book. What you’d be doing? • Advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies and corporate borrowers on a wide range of financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, refinancings and recapitalizations • Working across sponsor finance, leveraged finance, project finance, corporate lending, liability management and restructuring matters, with exposure to both private equity-backed and public company transactions • Supporting clients through complex capital structure transactions, including debt exchanges, amendments and extensions, Chapter 11 proceedings, DIP financings and exit financings • Take ownership of key components of transactions, including drafting and negotiating financing documents, managing deal execution and running discrete workstreams with clients, lenders and opposing counsel Overall, you’ll build a book of business with V5 clientele, within a platform that offers varied work without obstructing your route to equity.
