Assistant Data Analyst

Brief Description of the role: | Individuals filling this role will assist the Data Analyst and Sales Team in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data to support strategic decision-making across sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations functions. The role focuses on providing analytical support to transform large volumes of data into meaningful insights that drive business performance, improve operational efficiency, optimize inventory management, and enhance customer satisfaction. The individual in this role will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, measure performance, and provide data-driven recommendations that support the company's growth objectives. | Main Duties: | Assist the Data Analyst with: | - Analysis and reporting. | - Preparation of presentations and business reports. | - Coordination between departments. | - Process monitoring and administrative support. | Key Requirements: | - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. | - Good understanding of FMCG business operations and departmental functions. | - Experience working with the SAGE ERP system. | - Strong mathematical and analytical skills. | - Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and responsibilities. | - Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. | - Focused, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively. | - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. | - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. | - Maintaining accuracy and confidentiality of company information. | Qualifications: | - Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. | - Professional certifications in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence will be an advantage.
